Just A Little About Us

It is understandable that visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating, but we want you to know that you can relax at Calvary Heritage Baptist Church. We are a growing church both spiritually and numerically that has some imperfect people. Dr. Larry Lewis says "We are on the Grow and on the Go!!" We strive to navigate life, centered around the Word of God, and growing closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus.

Each of our services includes straightforward, understandable, practical preaching & teaching. The Bible is taught and Jesus is emphasized. You will enjoy the uplifting music and you will be encouraged to find many others seeking to know God better, just like you!

What to Expect 

~Expect to be greeted by one of our friendly volunteers that will help you get to your destination.

~Each Sunday morning beginning at 9:00 AM our church provides an opportunity to connect with fellow believers over Coffee and Refreshments.

~Sunday School / Bible Study Classes begin at 9:30am. Age appropriate classes are available.

~Our morning worship service begins at 10:45 AM and generally lasts about an hour. 

 

What kind of worship style can I expect? 

Our desire is to always worship the Father in both spirit and in truth. We do this by worshipping Him in bible study, song, scripture reading, prayer, sermon, and giving.  Our musical worship is a blended style.  We use hymns and choruses from ancient to modern times, believing that God inspires song writers of all ages to glorify Him.

 

What do I wear when I attend?

This is a great question. Most of us wear casual clothing. The men wear pants, jeans, shirts, whereas the women wear pants, jeans, skirts, dresses, blouses. However, some wear more formal attire and feel equally comfortable.

 

Where Do I Go?

After locating your parking spot, you may enter through the sanctuary's entrance or through any of our side entrances (our handicap entrance is located on the South side of the building). Our friendly volunteers will be there to welcome you and help you locate the nursery, children's classes, adult classes and the main worship service.
